North Port Christian School is excited to introduce our Principal, Megan Dean, a dedicated educator whose career is defined by a commitment to academic rigor and spiritual discipleship. Since 2006 when she graduated from Southeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education, Megan has served the educational community for over 17 years. Her vast experience includes 5 years as a preschool teacher/ daycare director and 12 years as a teacher in public school education at both the middle and high school levels. Her combined experiences give her a comprehensive perspective on students' development through their most crucial years. 

Throughout her tenure in both public and private sectors, her leadership has consistently translated into measurable student success. Under her guidance, students have frequently achieved state testing scores that rank among the highest in the area. She believes that high-quality education is not just about meeting standards, but exceeding them by fostering an environment where every child is challenged to reach their full intellectual potential.

In addition to her time in the classroom, Megan has served in children’s church and youth leadership while cultivating a heart for the discipleship of the next generation. At North Port Christian, she bridges the gap by combining elite academics and spiritual discipleship for every student.
