My name is Mrs. Nadiya Gubenya and I am so overjoyed to be teaching 2nd grade at NPCS. I have been blessed to be raised in a Christian home, and my faith and relationship with God has been the foundation of my life. With more than 10 years of experience in public school education in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in K-6 Education from USF and am both Gifted and ESOL Certified.

In addition to my teaching career, I have previously served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. Currently I am involved with helping my husband with the Church Music Ministry and love serving in the Couples Events Ministry at FSPChurch. Above all, I treasure being a wife of 15 years to my husband and a mother to four extraordinary boys. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, journaling, cheering on my four boys at their soccer games, attending Bible studies, and making lasting memories with my family.

My educational philosophy is rooted in a simple yet meaningful principle: To treat every child the way I would want my own children to be treated. I am committed to creating a school year that is filled with memories that each student will remember forever as their best year yet. A classroom where students feel safe, valued, encouraged, and inspired to develop a lifelong love of learning. I believe the strongest learning takes place when teachers, parents, and students work together, creating a classroom that feels like a family. I strive to recognize each child's unique, God-given potential while helping them grow academically, in kindness, and their relationship with the Lord.
