Amie McAllister

THIRD GRADE

I have been an elementary school teacher for 11 years and counting. I have worked in education for 19 years, and I am thrilled to continue my journey here at NPCS!

My love for teaching began early in life at First Presbyterian Church in Branchville, New Jersey. My best friend invited me to help teach Sunday School, and I am so grateful I said yes. That experience sparked a passion for working with children and set me on the path to becoming an educator.

I was blessed to attend Centenary College in Hackettstown, New Jersey. After graduating, I had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles at an incredible elementary school, where I learned from talented teachers and developed the skills and confidence that continue to shape me as an educator today.

In 2010 my husband and I moved to Florida to be closer to his family as he began his career with the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office. During that time, I served as a Site Coordinator and teacher with the Charlotte County Boys & Girls Club, where I continued doing what I love most- helping children learn, grow, and discover their unique potential.

In 2014, we made another exciting move, this time to Eugene, Oregon, to be closer to my family. There, I was blessed with my dream job as a classroom teacher at Nature Discovery Christian Academy. During our time in Oregon, my husband also began pursuing a second career in aviation, an exciting journey that has opened many new opportunities for our family.

Now, we are beginning yet another wonderful chapter as we return to Florida. We are excited to be closer to my husband Josh's parents and to support his continued career in aviation. While we leave half of our hearts in Oregon, where our adult sons continue to live, we are incredibly grateful for God's guidance and excited for all He has in store for us.

Teaching is more than my profession—it is my calling. I love creating a classroom where students feel safe, encouraged, challenged, and loved. My goal is to help every child grow not only academically but also spiritually, socially, and emotionally while fostering a lifelong love of learning.

I feel truly blessed to be part of the NPCS family, and I look forward to partnering with parents as we help each child grow in knowledge, character, and faith. I can't wait to meet my students and begin an amazing school year together!
